Frequently asked questions.
Why is your hourly rate only $45?
Our hourly rate is low because we don’t work on one-off projects.
The subscription model covers long-term planning, architecture, and maintenance, which allows hourly work to stay affordable and predictable. Instead of charging high hourly rates to compensate for short-term thinking, we spread that effort over time.
This reduces rework, avoids preventable mistakes, and keeps costs down without sacrificing quality.
Do you work on projects?
Yes — project work is common.
We work on projects within an ongoing subscription so that solutions are designed responsibly, documented properly, and supported after delivery.
This approach allows us to:
Keep hourly rates low
Avoid short-term fixes that create long-term problems
Provide continuity when Salesforce changes or your needs evolve
We don’t take projects where we’re expected to deliver work and immediately disengage with no ongoing relationship.
What does the subscription pay for?
The subscription covers everything that makes low hourly rates sustainable, including:
Ongoing familiarity with your Salesforce org
Architectural oversight and planning
Reusable frameworks and tooling
Salesforce release compatibility
Continuity over time
The subscription does not include unlimited development time — it provides access, prioritization, and long-term protection.
What is a “work slot”?
A work slot represents a focused unit of work, such as a small change, fix, configuration update, or scoped development task.
Work slots are used to balance capacity across clients and reduce delays caused by excessive context switching. The amount of time required for a work slot can vary depending on the request — some may take under an hour, others may span multiple hours or days.
Work slots are a planning tool, not a fixed time guarantee.
What’s the difference between open and priority work slots?
Open work slots are scheduled based on availability and the current queue.
Priority work slots are scheduled ahead of open slots for faster turnaround, but do not bypass all active requests.
Higher subscription tiers include priority slots to ensure more consistent progress when Salesforce is used regularly.
How are requests scheduled?
Requests are scheduled based on:
Subscription tier
Type of work requested
Current workload and queue
To keep work moving cleanly, we typically focus on one prioritized request at a time rather than working on many partially completed tasks.
Is there a limit to how much work we can request?
Subscriptions do not include unlimited development time.
Each plan has a typical monthly usage range, reflected through work slots. If usage consistently exceeds that range, we’ll recommend upgrading to a plan that better matches your needs.
This keeps availability fair across clients and prevents burnout or rushed work.
What happens if we cancel the subscription?
If you cancel:
Your Salesforce org continues to function normally
All delivered functionality remains in place
No data or access is removed
However, cancellation means:
No further framework updates
No Salesforce release compatibility updates
No architectural oversight or support
Future work may require re-onboarding
Canceling stops future value — it does not undo past work.
Can you build something fully custom for us?
Yes.
You always get the outcome you ask for. When possible, we implement solutions using reusable and configurable foundations so future changes are faster and less expensive.
Custom configurations and business-specific logic remain accessible within your org.
Who owns the work?
You always own your data and your Salesforce org.
Reusable frameworks and shared tooling remain our intellectual property and are licensed for use as part of an active subscription. This is standard practice for managed packages and platform tooling.
What happens if we need more help than our plan allows?
If Salesforce becomes more active for your team, we’ll recommend upgrading to a plan that provides additional capacity and faster turnaround.
Upgrades are month-to-month and can be changed at any time.
Is this a good fit for us?
This model works best if you:
Want affordable, predictable Salesforce help
Value long-term stability over short-term fixes
Prefer steady progress instead of fire drills
It may not be a good fit if you:
Want unlimited development time
Need guaranteed instant turnaround on all requests
Prefer large, project-based consulting engagements
If you’re unsure which plan fits your needs, we’re happy to talk it through before you commit.
